Clay Skulls with krb ceramics

This is a 2-Session Workshop to be held
Sundays, October 6 & 13 1pm - 3pm

Get into the Halloween spirit while creating a clay sugar skull. Sugar skulls have a rich history in Mexican culture and are used in Day of the Dead celebrations. A sugar skull is a symbol that commemorates a person whether dead or alive. It is festive, colorful and fun to make!

Please note This is a 2-part class:

Part 1: October 6, 1:00-3:00 pm. We build the project in wet clay.

Part 2: October 13, 1:00-2:30 pm. After the project has been fired in the kiln, you return for a second class to glaze it.

Projects will be returned to Re:Create for pickup on October 23.

Class includes all firings and supplies.

Krb ceramics is the teaching space and shop of Mt. Gretna artist Karen Rich Beall. Offering summer day camps for children, adult and child classes, and project-based classes and workshops for adults.
